What is River Island's returns policy?
River Island accepts returns within 28 days of delivery or store purchase, as long as the items are clean, unworn and still tagged. For Christmas, River Island says purchases made from 22 October can be returned for a gift card refund until 14 January.
River Island returns are free at any UK River Island store (excluding Jersey and the Isle of Man). Sending a UK online order back by Royal Mail, Evri or InPost costs £2.95 per return, which River Island deducts from the refund.
River Island aims to start the refund within 10 calendar days of a UK postal return being dropped off, then allows up to 10 days for the money to arrive. River Island exchanges online orders in its UK stores.
